Meal Time

Gourmet bush tucker in the Outback.

I like this image, it really portrays what a meal can do - it brings people together.

This particular meal was prepared for us by a genuine 'Outback Jack' on a youth group camp that we took out to Chinchilla. Some kids found a decent yabbie while swimming in the dam, so 'Outback Jack' whipped up a fire, and boiled it in a billie can. He then disappeared for a while and came back with a plate, seasoning and some garnishes - which he decoratively cut and sliced. It was all quite impressive and the kids loved it! We ate it off the bonnet of his truck. =)
