Archives Fine Books - A Real-World Wonderland

Archives Fine Books is like no other (at least no other I've ever stumbled upon).
Its like its own little world of wonderfulness that takes your breath away as soon as you step inside!
Books, each with a history of their own, fill the store from floor to (very high) ceiling.
I shot these pictures as a small human interest story for the The Satchel (which you can read here).
I've you're ever in the area, you should definitely stop by - if only for a moment.

Archives Fine Books is located at 40 Charlotte St, Brisbane. Ph: 32210491 or Facebook
And they're open til 9pm on Fridays!

Hamish and Dawn Alcorn, the lovely and welcoming owners of Archives Fine Books

The oldest book in the store - an amazing treat that my friend & I not only got to see, but hold as well!
"Arcadia" by Sir Philip Sidney Knight was published in 1633 and outdates Australia itself,
coming in at 379 years of age. You can see in the above photo just how old the English is.
