Yesterday I started my Vintage Camera Collection with the purchase of the humble Kodak Box Brownie. First introduced in February 1900 as a basic cardboard box camera priced at $1, the Box Brownie popularised low-cost photography, making the art available to the average home.
Welcome, little Brownie, to my humble abode.
